CONFERENCES, SYMPOSIA & WORKSHOPS

In collaboration with the Psychology Department, our center is actively involved in organizing national and international conferences as well as symposia and workshops to share scientific knowledge on diverse topics on human development and psychopathology and to bridge a gap between researchers and practicioners.

  • Family Violence: May 27, 2014

This conference involved sharing and discussion of the results of the National Survey on Domestic Violence against Children with keynote delivered by WHO Europe Dr. Dinesh Sethi.

  • Isik Savasir Clinical Psychology Symposium: May 15-18, 2013

The theme of this symposium focused on the topic of “relationality” in multiple domains of human development. Clinical researchers and practicioners presented work related to the nature of dyadic interactions in family, school, and therapy setting. International speakers involved Dr. Nancy McWilliams and Dr. Stephen Knoblauch. Workshops were conducted on specific topics.

  • 17th National Psychology Conference: April 25-28, 2012
